National Peacemaker Gathering 2022

Theme: Peacemaking: it works!

On the 7th of April we held our 2nd Annual Peacemaker Gathering at Parramatta Baptist Church which was also streamed live online.

The night included:

• video from Melton Christian College in Victoria on how “Peacemaking: it works” is true in their school (4:25 to 5:40)
• some truly inspiring stories of how our theme for the night “Peacemaking: it works” is true across multiple contexts – personally, in churches, in schools, in counselling and pastoral care and within PeaceWise itself (5:55 to 40:30)
• a keynote address from Rev Dr Ross Clifford, Principal of Morling Bible and Theological College (44:25 to 1:05:25)
• a time of honouring and thanksgiving for our National Director, Bruce Burgess – for his many years of dedication and leadership (1:05:55 to 1:40:40)
• a word from Bruce about the transition to new leadership and of thankfulness in response to all God has done (1:40:45 to 1:54:42)
• commissioning of our new Chief Executive Officer, Wayne Forward who will be taking up the leadership of PeaceWise from June 2022 (1:54:45 to 2:06:35)
• more thanksgiving to God for all he has done (!) and a vision cast from Wayne for the future plans for the ministry (2:06:35 to 2:21:15)
