Peacemaking from one side of Australia to the other

2019 has started off with a bang for PeaceWise!

Over the last two weeks of January, ten of our PeaceWise trainers taught our first course Everyday Peacemaking in three different schools in three different states – NSW (ACC Marsden Park), SA (Horizon Christian School) and WA (Emmanuel Christian Community School) – plus The Navigators in the ACT!!

The focus of the training is to help participants learn that there are opportunities presented to us in conflict of which we are often not aware, give them a simple framework for understanding conflict and practical tools to respond well to conflict.

All training days were a great success with close to 200 people learning peacemaking principles and new ways of handling conflict so that they can work towards creating cultures of peace within their school and ministry communities.
