Mediation training is the second part of the Foundational skills training. Through this training, you will learn skills and processes for reconciling two or more people who cannot resolve a conflict on their own. This training is provided by experienced conciliators and gives special attention to communication and problem-solving skills that are needed for effective mediation.
It also addresses some of the problems that are more frequently encountered during mediation.
Please note: The Everyday Peacemaking Course, The Heart of Peacemaking Course and the Conflict Coaching Course are all prerequisite trainings for this course and therefore must be completed before undertaking this course.
Please note our cancellation policy:
- Up to one month before the course – No charge.
- From 1 month to 1 week before the 1st day of training – 50% of the fee will be refunded.
- Within one week before the course – no refund will be given*.
* For serious illness or emergency, a fee credit will be supplied to be used within 1 year. Registrants are responsible for registering for future training with credit supplied.

Steve Frost has been helping people in conflict for twenty years, working as a lawyer, mediator, conflict coach and trainer. He is the founder of Horizons Community Legal Centre, a charity that helps families with entrenched hight conflict and domestic violence resolve disputes. As part of this work, Steve pioneered the delivery of legal assistance to families undertaking mediation through Family Relationship Centres in NSW. Steve is a graduate and current Board member of Morling College and delights in helping people learn how to navigate conflict in a manner consistent with Christian faith.
Li Ai Gamble
Li Ai holds law and commerce degrees and practiced as a lawyer in both the private and government sectors for over a decade. She is one of the foundation PeaceWise Board members and currently is also the PeaceWise National Ministry Co-ordinator. Li Ai has provided PeaceWise training and mediated church based conflicts. Outside of PeaceWise Li Ai holds the role of “Minister of Domestic Affairs” for the Gamble household! Her greatest passions are spending time with and learning more about Jesus, and sharing her love of him with others through practical helps and conversations over a cup of tea (or coffee!). Li Ai attends Woodvale Baptist Church.
