Personal Peacemaking (online intensive course)

Tired of being buffeted by conflict around you? Wondering what God is doing when peace is absent? This online intensive school will help you grow personally in your ability to respond well to conflict and challenging relationships. It will give you life changing skills to carry for the rest life!

This online intensive training combines the learning from both our foundational personal peacemaking courses, being Everyday and Heart of Peacemaking.

There are 4 sessions in total. You will attend 1 session each week. All sessions will be scheduled in the evening with precise times still to be confirmed.

In this training you will learn tools that you can apply to personal contexts, enabling new hope to be brought into relationships. You will also go deeper to learn about the deeper things which drive our responses to challenging situations.

In this training you will:

  • learn a simple framework for understanding and dealing with everyday conflict
  • gain powerful peacemaking principles and relational tools
  • understand the biblical foundations of peace and reconciliation
  • have time to reflect upon your personal experience of conflict and peacemaking
  • discover opportunities to glorify God, serve others and grow to be like Christ, even in the midst of conflict.
  • gain a deeper understanding of the role of the human heart in more serious conflicts
  • discover a powerful tool to understand the drivers of your and others’ behaviours
  • become better equipped to respond well to challenging situations
  • learn how you can support and build a culture of peace in your community/spheres of influence

This level of training is suitable for all Christians as we work together to promote peacemaking in our own lives, families, workplaces, churches and communities.

For persons such as those in full time pastoral ministry, teachers or lawyers, if the content of the training is relevant to your professional development or continuing accreditation or education requirements, you may claim one 'unit' for each hour of attendance, subject to the rules of the relevant programme.
