Information Technology (IT) Administration Officer

PeaceWise is looking for an IT Administrator to manage the day-to-day support of our business systems and infrastructure. We are growing rapidly and have implemented a number of new platforms to help manage that growth. Our systems deliver online courses and applications to our clients and business information for our teams. Our cloud-based platforms are an essential enabler for achieving our mission as an organisation.

The ideal candidate will have;

  • experience in managing and configuring web, cloud, and app based platforms and applications
  • technical understanding of IP networking and security protocols
  • the ability to quickly learn new platforms and technologies on the job
  • a minimum training of Certificate IV in Information Technology, or equivalent
  • excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • excellent customer service and support skills
  • the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • a passion for serving in a Christian ministry

This permanent part-time position of 18 to 22 hours per week is suited to someone seeking flexible work arrangements. Out of business hours support for systems may be required from time to time. The National Office is in Sydney, however the position can be undertaken remotely. The successful applicant will need to be willing to travel from time to time to participate in team gatherings. Applications close on August 30th and it is hoped that the successful applicant will be available for commencement in mid October, or sooner.
