Heart of Peacemaking

An improved ability to be a peacemaker and respond well to the challenge of conflict requires a deeper understanding of ourselves, our relationship with God and the deeper things which drive our responses to challenging situations.

Our presenters

Yvette Guo

Yvette was an atheist until she had an amazing encounter with God on 16 January 2014. She has since been very passionate about living for God and bringing people to be reconciled with God through Lord Jesus. She had lots of opportunities to be a peacemaker in her legal practice as a barrister. She felt a sense of calling as a sessional lecturer of law at UNSW, because she loves teaching, but it is her prayer being answered to have the opportunity to equip people with biblical peacemaking.

Wendy Konemann

Wendy is a passionate about peacemaking and connecting people to Jesus in the midst of their hurt and pain, providing practical tools to navigate conflict. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Psychology (Counselling), training and experience in inner healing and trauma work, is a conflict coach, mediator, and trainer. Wendy currently lives in Hong Kong with her husband Jeff who is working with Cathay Pacific. She loves hiking, reading and eating amazing Cantonese food!
