Resolving everyday conflict

Angela Niejalke’s interview on LifeFM Adelaide

In this interview with Paul and Laureen Newsham on LifeFM’s Sunday Night Talk on 4th May 2025, PeaceWise trainer, mediator, and South Australia Ministry Coordinator, Angela Niejalke, shares biblical insights on navigating everyday conflict – those moments of tension at home, at work, or in our communities that can quickly escalate if not handled well.

Angela offers both biblical wisdom and practical encouragement, reminding listeners that even ordinary disagreements can become opportunities to glorify God, take responsibility for our own actions, and build stronger, healthier relationships.

“Conflict doesn’t have to divide us – in God’s hands, it can teach us humility, empathy, and grace”.

Angela Niejalke

Together, Angela and the hosts explore common unhelpful responses to conflict and how recognising our own tendencies to escape or attack can help us respond in a peacemaking way. She reminds us that resolving conflict well is less about being right and more about valuing relationships and reflecting God’s love in our words and actions.
